The corona protective measures of the day
Concerning the Lagos state lock down
The lagos state Governor during his briefing earlier today gave the protective  measures against Covid-19
S.O.P FOR BUYING DAILY NEEDS ITEMS DURING MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER COVID-19

BEFORE GOING OUT
. appoint one representative only and the same person should go out everytime
. list the items to buy
. wear a mask
. go out between 10am to 3pm{when the sun is still shinning brightly}
. prepare one plastic bag to fill in the change{do no put money in pocket,purse or wallet} or bring accurate amount of money

WHEN YOU ARE OUTSIDE
. do not stay outside more than 40-mins
. keep your distance from others{one metre}
. speak only when needed
. decide which item to buy and grab it without hesitation {avoid taking and putting back again}
. give the prepared plastic bag to put in the change,please do not directly touch the money

WHEN YOU ARE BACK AT HOME
. expose items that cannot be washed under the sun
. expose all vehicle  keys and locks under the sun
. wash hands with soap
. wash washable items including money with soap and dry them
. discard plastic bags
. remove mask and discard
.
FINAL PHASE
. wash your feet with soap before entering the house
. wash and clean the entire body with soap and shampoo
. dry your body
. drink a glass of warm water
          The corona virus is now at the community  transmission phase .It means that they are unknown infected persons within our neighborhood that are now infecting other people.it means that they have the infection but not showing clinical symptoms .
here are my thoughts as we go forward we must now consider everybody around us as already infected.
this consent now must be your daily guiding thoughts on how to yourself when interacting with anybody outside your household especially neighbours .Dont assume anybody is as sensible as you are.
This is perhaps the only time,in modern history,to arrogantly consider yourself  smarter than everyone around you,by judiciously doing all you must to stay safe.



This is also the time to wear face mask as part of your clothing especially when stepping out of your house
. disinfect face mask before and after use
. wash hands regularly with soap and water despite use of facemask
. use hand sanitizer despite use of face mask
. dont touch your face{mouth,nose,ear} unless with washed hands
. obey your cautionary protocol
      Face mask are mostly unavailable or very expensive. so you can improvise using a bandanna , large handkerchiefs,turtle necks{cut off} e.t.c.
the aim is to prevent droplets {from a cough or sneeze{of an infected person from entering your nostril
        Another key points is to regularly discuss and remind your house hold members to follow all guidelines too.you are responsible for each other. your familys health lies on the weakest link,so keep every one strong .
          Take responsibility,stay alive and stay home.
