Nigerian Striker Osimen Wins Player Of the Season Award


Victor Osinmen is presently enjoying an exceeding Reception from several quarters of the world as his excellent performance this season as earned him an award.

Naija News Understands that  Osimhen wasawarded lilies player of the Season, following his eye-catching displays for the French side in the 2019-20 campaign.

The Super Eagles striker joined the Great Danes last summer from Sporting Charleroi after his impressive performances for the Belgian side, where he scored 19 league goals before his departure.

The 21-year-old striker was recruited as a direct replacement for Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe, who teamed up with Premier League giants Arsenal.

The Former Lille forward Moussa Sow has also praised the Nigerian striker. He described Victor Osimhen as an excellent player and hopes he will maintain his scoring form for the club.

“He is an excellent player. He surprised me! He is good in front of the goal, facing the game, and he goes very fast,” “He scores a lot of goals and I hope he will continue his momentum.”Sow told the club’s official website.

The Nigeria international has scored 18 goals and recorded six assists in 31 league appearances for the
Great Danes.

Switzerland-based goalkeeper Sebastine Osigwe has expressed his desire to play for the Super Eagles

The SC Kriens shot stopper the Switzerland goal keeper said it had always been his dream to play for the Eagles, adding that he had always kept in touch with Nigerian players and Eagles goalkeeper coach, Aloy Agu.
